Customer Reviews
Received in under 24hours
Please read if your considering buying the JVC GZ-MG36EK
Ok, so the delivery was very speedy. Received in under 24hours from paying.
Now, lets talk about the camera in simple form...
The Good points:
Very small and light
Great quality recording
Good sound (Dolby)
EXCELLENT Zoom on it (the optical is amazing 32x)
The Bad points...
Don't attempt to use it indoors or in poor light, its rubbish
There is no Night vision on it, so it can't be used in the dark
As i do a lot of Night time video-ing, it was essential to have night vision.
I received the item at 1pm, and it was back at the post office by 5pm.
Conclusion:
If you don't need it AT ALL for night time / poor light condition, then its great. I suggest testing these camera's in a shop before you
buy it.
I have now got myself a Full refund, and have now purchased a Sony DCR-SR50e for £400 with a Free Case and Free delivery.
Good luck with your purchase

poor image
I bought this camcorder last June mainly because of the 30 GB hard drive and the remote control and the low price, but was disappointed
after the first use which was in room light condition. the image quality was so poor, I never used it again. I had a cheaper samsung mini
DV camcorder before this and the image quality was far better than this one. don't buy it.
better than dvd's
harddrive is the way forward, a good camcorder plenty to do nice zoom, battery of 1 hour not so good when u can film for about 30hours
!
picture quality is good so is sound, small and compact, and nice to never get to the end of tape or dvd, worth getting extra battery, i
got the 2 hour but u can get a whopping 4 hour battery
buy if u can, u save on not buying madia tapes or dvds, plus no need to carry bag for all the media too
